you forgot inexpensive! LOL. My girlfriend said it would be cool to put sand on the tables...but we didnt think the caterer would appreciate the mess! LOL.

Not to mention the inebriated guests flinging it at one another......

LOL actually my family is pretty mellow when it comes to drinking... I cant vouch for his family though so maybe youre right to skip the sand.

I had though about putting stones down though. Maybe I'll just skip it and stick with that we got!

depending on how many tables you are doing, an easier but also pretty effect would be to set it on a round mirror. I think they have them at Michaels craft stores (check the wedding aisle) for 5-10$ a piece, and it would add even more wow.
Or, if you want the beachy feel, you could do seashells... Which could double as favors if you are feeling crafy - use a paint pen to put your names & date on them, and glue a magnet to the back for a quick easy fridge magnet, which people might actually keep/use.

Either way, very pretty!

Kat - great ideas. I will check out the mirrors cause that has been brought up in the past. Not sure i would spend more than $5 a piece though. I'm really diggin' the $13 job! LOL.

We have our favors already. Michaels was having an awesome sale on wallet sized picture frames so we bought a gazillion. Then i ordered wallet sizes of one of our engagement photos. Christy and I are trying to find an easy way to dress them up a bit - bow..ribbon..something. But i am really bad at tying bows. ugh.

I mastered the tiny bow when I had to make like 80something of them for a friend's bridal shower.
Easiest way I've learned is to cut the ribbon to final size, then hold it folded in 1/4s- bunny-ear style (so you have half folded in one hand, half in the other.) Then simply tie the two bunny ears in a knot, and adjust loops/ends to make it pretty. It makes a nice small decorative bow that you can glue on with a dab of hot glue.
