I didn't want to be the one to tell you, but they do come back. We got one of those traps and the first time, Doug released it across the street in the field. Of course within a few days he was back. Someone told me that you need to take it at least a mile away for them to not return. Doug took our creature to his work and we haven't seen hide nor hair (nor black little sprinkles around the garage) of him. ;)
